I mean, it has three suns, a religion based on said suns, and mysterious deities. Although Jay Kristoff includes mature content and graphic descriptions, nothing felt gratuitous (ok, maybe there was a bit more blood than was absolutely necessary occasionally) and certainly fit the characters and overall world. Obviously, I loved these books and am hoping that you love this small piece of tribute to some marvelous writing. But I can officially say that I have completed it □ I’m so proud of my little picture. Although this piece was on 9×12 paper and relatively small, the tiny dots made my hand cramp up and it took a bit longer to finish. I let it percolate in my mind for a little bit before sketching it out and stippling the entire thing. Since learning I could listen to audiobooks at work, my two favorites, so far, have been Jay Kristoff’s Nevernight and Godsgrave! There was even a scene in Godsgrave that I really wanted to recreate.
